“ 日経新聞の「交遊抄」とかで、「私と○○くんは麻布高校時代の悪友であり、いつも授業をサボって、麻雀と空手に明け暮れていた。しかし、なぜか東大に合格し…」みたいな文章を見ることがありますよね。嘘をつくな！と叫びたくなります。勉強をせずに有名大学に入れるかと。天才タイプの人も5％ぐらいはいるかもしれないけど、少なくともお前じゃないよ。ガリ勉だった過去を隠すな！ お前と俺の青春はスポーツでも麻雀でも恋愛でもない。受験勉強だ！ …すみません、つい熱くなってしまいました。でも、破天荒な過去を捏造して、「俺は知的な仕事に就いているけど実はけっこうアウトローだぜ」と匂わせたがる男が多くないですか。特に、マスコミ業界の40代以上に。何が「元暴走族」だよ。暴れるなら今暴れてみろ！
